Every astrophotography journey starts with careful planning. This tutorial shows you how to do that using Telescopius and a connected Stellarium, both excellent free tools!
When will my target be high enough? When will it go behind the trees? Can I pick two or more targets?
Sometimes your Field of View just doesn't cut it and you decide the target is worthy of a multi-panel mosaic.
How do you create a single file out of these separate panels?
Sometimes I record tutorials in Dutch to make it more understandable for a Dutch audience. They will have an orange backdrop (of course).
Post-processing is the reason why astrophotography has taken such a leap in quality recent years. It is the one key aspect of the hobby which will make the difference between "okay" and "stunning". It's also the one aspect which will always be bound by taste, which makes it illusive.
There are multiple (software)tools available to stack your photo's. ASdeepstack (part of ASI studio) is one of those tools which is available and will also work splendidly if you do not have ZWO gear.
